I did, in fact, refuse let her give me her phone number one night.
Let me explain.........

So her first Team she joined played on Tuesday nights.  I was going through a divorce and had just moved out and into my own place and really had nothing better to do so I joined another Tuesday night Team.  Imagine my delight when I walked in to Racks and saw her there too.  However, I was a bit disappointed when I noticed that she was "with" this guy named John.  The next time I saw her was at Snookered one evening.  I had wandered over there to check it out because they had pretty much just opened.  Or maybe I was playing Masters?  I don't remember.  Either way, I'm playing at one of the tables up front and look over and she's practicing at another table with...  You guessed it. John!  The same guy she was hanging out with on Tuesday night.  I went over to say hi and we chatted for a bit.  The Friday night Team came up and I mentioned that we would be starting a new group chat to add her to it.

Before this next bit, let me reiterate.  I had seen her and John interact Tuesday night.  THEN I had come to Snookered and her and John were there together practicing again.  I thought they were together.  Keep that in mind.

So, I mentioned that we would be starting a new group chat.  She said, "Here, let me give you my number so you can add me."  My dumb ass said, "No, that's ok, Max has your number I'll let him start the chat with you in it."

So, after talking about it later, it turns out that she was kind of interested in me as much as I was in her and was upset/confused/amused when I refused to take her number.  LOL.  We still laugh about that to this day.  "I tried to give you my number and you REFUSED!!!"

LOL babe, I just didn't want to cause any trouble with you and John.  Little did I know, John was married and had 4 or 5 kids.  They were just hanging out.  If you know how much she does NOT want kids, you know there was no way there would be anything between her and someone who had 4 or 5.
